Italiano Meat Loaf
Just like Grandma’s Authentic Italian Meat Loaf recipe
- 2 Lbs. Ground Beef
- 1 Medium Onion, chopped
- 3 Slices Bread, grated
- 1 Tsp. Salt
- 3 Eggs
- 1/8 Tsp. Pepper
- 1 Tbsp. Parmesan Cheese, grated
- 1 Tsp. Chopped Parsley, (fresh or dried)
- Dash of Garlic Salt or Powder
- Chopped Green Pepper
- Worcester Sauce
Place meat in a large mixing bowl. Add bread to meat and mix lightly in a blender, combine eggs, cheese, parsley, garlic, chopped onions, salt and pepper. Blend one minute.
Pour over meat and mix lightly. Add one-third of a 14-oz. jar of Tallarico’s Meatloaf Sauce.
Shape into loaf and pour an additional one-third of sauce over top. (Slices of bacon placed on top of loaf will add flavor.) Baste while baking at 325-degrees for 1 hour. Cover with aluminum foil and keep in oven until serving.
Mix remaining one-third of sauce with meat drippings and serve hot in your gravy dish.
Coney Island Style Chili-Dogs
Just like the real thing!
Cut up one Onion and one Pepper.
Add to one 14-oz. jar of Tallarico’s Chili Hot Dog Sauce; heat and allow to simmer for 10 minutes.
Separately prepare one pound of your favorite hot dogs. Spoon sauce over hot dog and roll.
Philadelphia Steak Sandwich Recipe
For an authentic “Philly Cheesesteak” Sandwich
Grill or brown sandwich steaks with small amount of oil or butter mixed with onions.
Serve on a hard roll, topped with heated Tallarico’s Steak Sandwich Sauce. Don’t forget slices of Provolone Cheese for that authentic Philly Cheesesteak taste!
Sausage, Pepper-N-Onion Sandwich
Cut 2 pounds sausage into 6-inch lengths, brown in skillet and pour off excess oil.
Chop up one large onion and one large green pepper; add to sausage, along with one jar of Tallarico’s Steak Sandwich Sauce. Simmer for 30 minutes.
Serve on steak roll.
