Our History
Our family opened its first grocery store in the 1920s, selling the finest food products. Word spread about the delicious, traditional Italian pasta sauces and steak sandwich sauces being made in the store, and sales quickly expanded to other local grocery stores. What started as our home recipes produced for store customers, became Tallarico Food Products in 1957, using the finest ingredients–extra virgin olive oil, sherry wine, Pecorino Romano cheese, and nearly two dozen herbs and spices–still used in its products today.
