Just like fine wines, there are many types of olive oil styles and flavors, the best being Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Even among Extra Virgin Olive Oils there are differences in flavors, some being rich, smooth, and buttery, while others having a peppery bite.

The differences in tastes are mainly driven by the variety of olive, climate, location, as well as the time of year when the olives are harvested. Some people prefer one style over the other, some people like both.

We discovered a special family farm located near the seas that surround Calabria, Italy. The farm produces a very high quality, smooth, buttery, and mellow Extra Virgin Olive Oil that we are excited to bring to market. For generations, the family has treated their olive trees with loving care, observing sustainable and regenerative farming practice.
